McGRUER AND CO'S EXCELSIOR

To-day Messrs McGruer and Co. start their "Excelsior Sale,", for which great preparations have been made. s The special feature of the sale is the purchasing of special sale lines by Mr McGruer, who is now in London, and has personally supervised the. selection of the highclass goods winch have arrived here per the s.s. Rotorua and lonic, for all departments of his trade. To give the public some idea of the class of goods that are now under offer, an inset is published in this morning's issue of the Age, in which the leading lines in each department are set forth, together with quotations of prices, which will.go to show the bargains now under offer. Messrs McGruer and Co. only run two sales a year, and they specially draw attention to the fact that these are two genuine sales.
