PICNIC AT SOLWAY.
TO fiE HELD ON THURSDAY. i The Committee of the Masterton A.' and P. ■ Association lias decided' •to hold a picnic at the new Showgrounds at Solway on Thursday next. The idea of the gathering is to popularise the grounds, in view of the coming show. At Saturday's meetiug of the Association, a committee consisting of Messrs T. P. Lett, R. Gray, J. C. McKillop and J. H. . Pauling, with power to add to their inimbeiy was -appointed"to make the " necessary rarrangementS"; . One of the features of the gathering will vbe a. tug-of-war between members of the committee aiid a 11-coniprs. ;
