Messrs Abraham and* Williams, Ltd., report:—The opening sale at Eketahuna after the holidays 'was held yesterday, .when a full yarding of cattle and a good entry of sheep was submitted by the associated auctioneers. The attendance.' was large, and business at auction animated, practically the whole, of the yarding changing hands at satisfactory prices.
