MONTHLY MEETING. The Usual monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees was held in the office of the secretary (Mr A. J. Hathaway) last evening. There were present,—Messrs T. Wagg (chairman), R. Krahageh, C. E. Daniell, H. 0. L. Robinson, O. N. C. Pragnell, T. B. Michell, D. Caselberg'and E. G. Eton. Mr Robinson moved that the offer of £56 from Mr Prentice: for the building be accepted. • !. • The motion was seconded by Mr Krahagen and carried.

■ '-The treasurer report that rents' received from 9th December, 1910, to 13th January, 1911, amounted to £l3l lis 6d, and that the credit balance at the bank was £252 19s 9d. Accounts amounting to £53 Is 3d were passed for payment. Mr C. E. Daniell moved that the £250 Credit be put in the Post- Office Savings Bank. . The mover stated that it was decided sometime ago to invest £250 each year for four years in a building society, .but it was now discovzered that the latter society did not pay any interest until the end of two years. The first amount of £250 was already in the hands of the Bulking Society.

Mr Pragnell seconded the motion. It was subsequently decided that it ho left i& the hands of the chairman 'to -decide whether to put the money in the hands of the Public Trustee or the 'Post Office Savings Bank. ■»
