PALMERSTON N. STOCK SALE. (By Telegraph—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:— At oiir Palmerston North sale 011 Thursday, 12th January, v/c had a fair jarding of both sheep and. cattle. Sheep were in good demand, and we managed to quit every pen at satisfactory prices. Cattle, sold" freely, vfery little going out unsold. We quote:— Sheep: Aged ewes and lambs, all counted, 7s 7d; small 2-tooth-, 9s; 4-tooth wethers, small lis sd; woolly lambs, small, 6s 4d; fat wethers, 13s 4d to 14s 9d; 2-tooth ewes ,11s 8d; fat ewes, lis, lis 4d to 12s 9d; fat lambs, lis lOd.
