A SOUTHERN MEETING. DISORDERLY- EXHIBITION. By Telegrarili—Pr«s Association. T.IMARU, Last Night. Afc the Pleasant Point races to-day there was a small meeting, the gate takings amounting to ;£J2O. Seventeen bookmakers were licensed at £3 3s each. There was a great disorder over one of the races. The official starter could not get the horses off, through the interference of the .crowd,, and lie left an outsider to fend them away. The stewards ordered the race to be re-run, one of their number acting as starter. Again there was a great disturbance by a section of the crowd. The start was delayed half an hour. Finally the anger of the crowd exploded into laughter, and the race was got off. r
