DUNEDIN, Last Night. The wheat market is devoid of animation. The only demand is for prime milling, velvet Tuscan having little or no attention. Prices are.— Best velvet, 3s 9d to 4s; best Titscan, 3s 6d to 3s 7d; medium, 3s 4di to 3s 6d; inferior to medium, 2s 3d to 3s 3d. The oats market is exceedingly quiet, there being no demand for shipment or milling. There is a very small quantity m store. The only business is in the disposal of small lots for local requirements. Followiiig are the prices ruling:— Best milling, 2s 3d to 2s 4d; best short feed, 2s 2d to 2s 3d; inferior to medium, Is lid to 2s Id.
