THE TERRITORIALS.

CASTLEPOIXT CAMP. The Territorials now in camp at Castlepoint have commenced work in qarnest, and are being favoured .with fine weather. Captain J. C. McKil-, lop exercised the men on Saturday morning in various movements, and Lieutenant Page took them out in the afternoon to occupy a position a distance abouve Southey's, to repel an attack. On Sunday necessary details were attended to until 2 p.m.. when general leave was granted until 7 p.m. A number of people visited the camp during the day. Captain McKillop issued the following' orders for Monday:—Reveille, 5.30 a.m.; coffee, 5.45 a.m.; horse fatigue, 6 a.m.; stables, 6.30 a.m.; breakfast 7. a.m.!; dress for parade, 7.45 a.m.; parade mounted full dress, 8 a.m.; stabbs on return from trek; tea, thirty minutes later; gutu'd jnouuting, 8.30 p.m. Routine orderly officer for the day, Lieut. Page; next for duty, Regimental Sergeant-Major Collier; orderly sergeant, Sergeant K. Welch; next for duty, Sergeant McLachlan ; orderly corporal, Corporal Bellis; next for duty, Corporal Burrows; orderly bugler, Bugler Donald. The squadron will trek to Wbareama.The Quarter-Sergeant will issue rations for lunch, each man taking his own. •

On the way to Whare.'ima/ on Monday the squadron encountered rain, and a. halt was made at Mr Willie Andrews', Otahama station, where refreshments -were provided. The squadron returned to camp after a .short spell. Chaplain Captain McKenna and Lieutenant-Colonel Russell arrived in camp on Monday afternoon and evening respectively.
