Mr Ward, a passenger bj the wrecked Hawes express, lost his inem<ory and strayed to an obscure Glas,gow Hotel. It was believed he was .dead, until Ward saw a reference in the newspapers to his fiancee trying ,to identify his watch. His memory then returned.
