WAIRARAPA TRAIN SERVICE.
A CONCESSION GRANTED. The Minister for Railways has informed a New Zealand Times representative that among the many im[portant matters requiring his im-. mediate attention is- the improvement of. the. Wairarapa train service. There is no 'possibility, he said, of reverting to 'the original running, and the alteration will probably be in the direction of cutting out the Cross' .'Creek-Masterton section from the route of the early train to Palmerston North, starting this useful train where the traffic mostly originates, namely, at Masterton. It will, thus be able to make an earlier start for Palmerston North. ~',„.
