MINORITIES AND MAJORITIES. (Received Last Night, 11.50 o'clock.) LONDON, January 6. The Management Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions, in connection with the Osborne judgment, conderiins any amendment of. the Trade Union Act enabling minorities to avoid the effect of the decision of majorities. It argues that such an amendment is calculated to introduce disintegration and complicate, accounts relating to contributions to benefits. It emphasises the fact that Trade Unions are voluntary organisations, .and that the Legislature is not justified,in. deci£: ions of , the majority relating to finance.
