SERIOUS WAGGON ACCIDENT.
ON MASTERTOtf-TINUI ROAD. A serious accident occurred to Mr William Cobb, a waggoner in the employ of Mr Harry Cole/ of Mas- , 1 r terton, on Tuesday last. Bte was driving a team of horses in front of a waggon containing thirty-two bales of wool, from Blairlogie. In, descending Rttijbkoko hill, between ji) and Kahumingi, the brake~of the waggon broke. "To* save the waggon and horses, he , drove the latter into the bank. The force of the impact of the wool against the embankment broke one of the holding ropes, and four d bales , ' of wool from the top of the load fell to the ground. In its descenv one of the bales struck Cobb on tjhe shoulder, pinning him to his eeat;% He" was rescued l from his position by a passer-by. " A "severe fracture of the shoulder, and-other <, injuries, resulted. A conveyance ' was sent out yesterday,,and the sufferer was brought to his home in Mas- s terton, where he is making as sat* " isfactory progress as can be expected. l ,
