MUNICIPAL CORPORATIONS ACT.
The Municipal Corporations;: Amendment Act came into operation on January Ist. Under this- enactment, stringent provisions, are made prohibiting directors of companies from occupying seats on the Council. It behoves Councillors, therefore, who may- be concerned with private companies, to seriously consider their position.
