THOMPSON-PAYNE, PICTURES.
Despite the wet weather last evening, another good audience was present at the Foresters' Hall to.witness the current programme of pictures. The bill-of-fare provided is 'an excellent one in 'all respects, there being plenty of" variety in the films.' All American biograph drama'entitled 'The Usurer" is one of the most powerful studies ever placed by Messrs Thompson and Payne before their patrons, and it is supported by a number of 'other * excellent subjects. There is also a fine range of comedy-dramas and scenics. The programme will be screened for the last time this evening. The programme to-morrow night will include "Lieutenant Rose and the Stolen Submarine," which is •said to be the most sensational submarine picture ever exhibited.
