THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. The excellence of ..the pictures at the' Foresters' Hall last week resulted in record business being done, and the programmes for the current, vfcek give promise of again drawing crowded houses .nightly. Long before the entertainment commenced las't evening scores of people had to be refused admission owirtg to the Hall being crowded. The bill-of-fare presented last evening was an excellent -one, and popular with all classes. Of the dramas "The Vestal," which deals with the Roman j days, was a capital historical subject, the. costumes and scenery being superb. ..Lovers of Wild West studies will find a story of enthralling interest in: "The Heart of the Sioux." "The Sorrows of the Unfaithful" is a pathetic drama in which an unjust accusation leads to a. sad end. "The Usurer," another American Biograph Company' s films, shows how a miser meets a terrible doom. "Serious Sixteen", and "When We Were in our Teens" were two fine comedy-dramas.
