WORKERS' DWELLINGS.
A particularly advanced piece of legislation passed, last session was" an Act which repealed the - Workers' Dwellings Act of 1908, and in lieu thereof makes better provision for the erection and disposal of workers' dwellings, and for the erection of such dwellings, which are not to exceed in Capital value an amount of £6OO, and may be disposed of by way of weekly tenancy, renewable lease, or by way of sale, a £lO deposit only being required, the purchase money to be paid by equal instalments distributed over a period of 25-J- years.
