FATAL FALL.
TIMAKU, Last Night. Tlio inquest on the body of Mr M. Clifford, who foil c>ver an embankment on December Sth, showed that the deceased had sustained a broken jaw, four broken ribs, a broken collarbone, two scalp wounds, and a punctured lung, and that death was due to septic pneumonia. Jue accident is supposed to have occurred at 1] p.m., when Clifford was not sober.
