THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES.
The attractiveness of the holiday programmes presented at the Foresters' Hall by Messrs Thompson and Payne has been clearly demonstrated by the packed houses each evening, and the large number of people who had to be refused admission owing to the crowded state of the building. The current programme was screened for the. last time last evening to a most appreciative audience, each film being greeted ' with rounds of applause. Another capital collection of pictures will be shown to-7iight. Among the star" films aro "Saved by. a Bioscope," a topical drama. "A Tramp's Story," a splendid cowboy story by the Essanay Company; "The Dawn of Freedom," a Selig drama of absorbing interest; "Davy Jones' Parrot," which introduces, a very clever bird; "The Omaha Trio," a very clever music hall turn j- "The Canadian Rockies in Winter," a superb picture; "The Bergen Railway, - " "Sandy's Substitute," a fine Edison comedy-drama, and Italian Army manoeuvres. On Saturday afternoon another special holiday matineo will be given.
