A FRENCH SENSATION.
MURDER AT LAYR
(Received Last Night. 9.20 o'clock.) PARIS, December 28. Jean Tollemaid wounded his wife and murdered his father, aged 77, at Layr, on Christmas Eve. Tollemaid, armed with a rifle, took refuge in a hayloft,' and barricaded the door, keeping the gendarme.-; at bay. The hayloft is being sieged.
