In their first innings New South Wales put together 331. Victoria's first innings totalled 252. New South Wales in their- second innings made 382. Victoria's second innings realised 268 runs, Seitz 32, Kyle 50, Smith 33, Kortlang 34, Matthew, not out 50, being the chief scorers. Cotter took four, wickets for 85, Kolleway 2 for 53, Emery 2 for 46, Macartney 2 for 26. New South Wales thus won by 193 runs.
