AN ALBANIAN DEMAND.
(Received Wednesday, 9.a.m.) SOFIA, December 28. Two thousand armed Albanians, in reply to the Turkish offer, demand the teaching of the national language in. the schools', removal of the embargo on newspapers, the establishment •of agricultural banks, that Government officials shall be Albanians, and that taxes shall be expended in Albania alone. This is the -first explicit Albanian demand for autonomy, and is 'traceable to the Young Turkish Party's policy of repression and denationalisation.
