To-Day's Weather.
MEW ZEALAND FOtRECAST.
(By Telegrapt.—Presa Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are us follow.— Fair though hazy weather has prevailed over the North Island to-day, but it has become cloudy and unsettled south, and showery weather is reported about Foveaux Strait. The barometer rose in the North, but has fallen steadily in the South. Present indications are for the development of a westerly storm area probably enveloping the whole country in the next 36 hours. Increasing cloudiness will probably be followed by rain shortly, and northerly winds rising everywhere, especially southward of Cook Straits. The barometer will probably fall everywhere, and low in the south. A southerly gale and rising barometer may be anticipated about Monday evening.
