ARGENTINE OR AUSTRALIAN ? (Received Last Night, 0.40 o'clock.) BERNE,December 23. A debate is taking place as to whether Argentine or Australian meat shall be admitted. The Government has announced that in March, 1011, it intends reducing the import duty on meat to ten francs per hundred kilogrammes. It is probable that an expert will be appointed to examine the London import methods.
