A COMPETITOR MISSING. THE BRITISH RECORD. (Received Last Night, 9.10 o'ekk) LONDON, December 23. Mr Cecil Grace, of Dover, competing for the De Forest prize for the furthest flight into the continent, flew the Channel, and tried to beat Sopwi thAdverse winds prevented 'his crossing the Belgium frontier. Ho started on his return to England, and was seen off Ramsgate, but has since "been missing. Colonel Cody, at Aldershot, flew 120 miles in 70 minutes, which constitutes a British record.
