MR PETER BOWLING.

When Mr Peter Bowling visited Master ton a few weeks back, he stated, in. effect, that if he was re-elected President of the Colliery Emees' Association in Newcastle, he would "run' the whole show" in his own particular way. He. also stated that he had not much doubt as to how the. election would go. That doubt is now set at rest. Peter has been defeated, and he wiU not be given an opportunity of "running the show." Possibly he will find New Zealand more to his liking. The miners over this way are badly in need of a Peter Bowling, and. they may appreciate him a little more than they do in Newcastle.
