(By Telegraph—Special.to the Age.) "PALMERSTON N., Last Night.
Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—At oiu' Palmerston Nortli sale on Thursday, the 22nd inst., good entries of all classes of stock met with spirited competition, and very few lots went out unsold. Quotations were:— Fat ewes (light), 12s 6d; forward ewes, 10s to lis 4d; 4 and 6-tooth store wethers, 12s lOd; store ewes, 8s to 9s 6cl; ewes and lambs, all counted, 9s; .store ewes and wethers, 10s 6d; a line of 325 rape lambs made 9s 6d; fat cows, £5 9s to £6 103; forward cows, £3 12s 6d to £-1 ss; yearling heifers, £2 18s to £3 lis 6d; 18-month Jersey heifers, £6; 3yr bullocks, £6; 18 month steers, £3 10s; yearling steers, £2 18s; 18 month*well-bred empty heifers,'£3 6s; weaners 20s 6d to 265; store cows, £2 10s to £3 17s 6d.
