ASSASSINS' IDENTITY ESTABLISHED. CONDOLENCE FROM THE KING. Received Last Night, 9.10 o'clock. LOM'NjN. December 10. The identity of the Houndsditch assassins h s been established. Dr. Bernstein, who conducted an auiopay on the man Goldstein. state 3 that the bullet in his body was similar to that extracted from a policeman.

- Goldstein was a native of Lithuania, the inhabitants of which constitute one of the main divisions of the Indo-European stock. He wore Russian made clothes, and had probably , been in England ohly a few weeks. He is supposed to belong to a gang of terrorists who are not ordinary East End ruffians.

The inquest on Goldstein's body has been opened. The evidence showed that Goldstein told the doctor who attended him that he had been shot in mistake by a friend. King George sent a msesage of condolence to the relatives of the policemen who were killed by the Houndsditch burglars. 'J he three policemen will be given a public funeral, with a. service at St. Paul's Cathedral, on Thursday. The Lord Mayor will attend. Detectiveß are searching the house in Grove street which had been occupied by the burglars They forced the locked doors, and found a' dummy in a bed. It is believed this was a ruse to secure time for the murderers, who escaped immediately before.
