"A Merry Christmas." "The Compliments of the. Season." "The Season's Greetings." These are expressions which are common to this season ' of the year. What a depth of mean- : ing, what a wealth of joy they convey! But, after all, actions speak • louder than words. One cannot better show one's sincerity, when offering' season's greetings, than by accompanying them with something tangible—something which will be treasured on account of the giver. ' And it is in this connection that the jewellery * establishment of Mr Frank Dupre, of Masterton, becomes a very important element in the Christmas festival. The pendants and necklets are a credit to the establish- ■ went, being of the latest English designs and set with precious . stones, while the range of ladies and gentlemen's gold, enamel and silver watches is particularly extensive. - JVJ r Dupre has shown some enterprise in catering for the popular craze ui enamel goods, and his stock includes a rare lot of beautiful novelties in real enamel','in all colours, such as enamel brooches, necklets, pendants, bracelets, and a great variety of hatpins- The case'goods are also particularly chaste this season.,, t.ieiv being a splendid range of 'manicure sets, hair brush sets in single and lull.sets (with mirror), jewel cases, ladies companions, ladies and gents' travelling bags. The counter cases are overflowing with all manner of exquisite silver ware, and special mention should be made of the liies w silver-mounted.cut and. plain glass: goods. Something very special is also shown in a new consignment • f travelling flasks, solid: silver in cases, and solid- nickel in all shapes, plain and engraved.
