The Spectator, reviewing the political situation, says that both parties are disappointed at the results of the eleuioris, though each holds an important rave'. Ihe paper adds that.it is desiraUe to settle the Parliament bill \<y agreement by means of private talks, and not by a formal conference.
'I he Hon. W. Ormsby-Gore has been re-elected foi Denbigh. The election is a protest against Mr Lloyd George's speech in Denbigh, in which he said that it was better a man's right arm was paralysed than that he shculd vote for Ormsby-Gore.
