DETAILS OF POLLING.

I OR CHAPPLE ELECTED. (Received Last Night, 10.30 o'clock.) LONDON, December 15. . Dr W. A. Chappie has been reelected for Stirlingshire, Mr J. C. Wason for Orkney and Shetland, and Mr E. Wason for Clackmanan and Kinress. The Unionists in Lancashire polled 47 per cent., compared with 43 per cent at the January elections. The Liberals polled o~« per cent, and Labour 16 per •cent., compared with 37 l-3rd and 19 per cent respectively in January. Excluding unopposed returns, in which the Unionists secured five seats, the Liberals polled 36,206 more than the Opposition, and secured forty-four seats against the Conservatives' twenty-three.
