GAMBLING.
Received December 14, 10.20 a.m. SYDNEY, December 14. The High Court affirmed hy a majority that the of Anne, invalidating notes, bills, and mortgages given as consideration for gambling, is non-existent in this State. Two decisions given by the full court had hitherto been contradictory, the latter being to the effect that the statute had • not' f been repealed. This was appealed against.
