RE-AKKANGEMENT OF BOUNDARIES.

WELLINGTON, Last Night. At a meeting of the District Methodist Synod to-day, a discussion, took place concerning the district boundaries. It was decided to recommend ■ the following re arrangement:— Auckland district, from Huntly northward; South Auckland district, fiom Hamilton to Taumaranui down the East Coast to Opotiki and the West Coast to Kawhia; Wanganui district, comprising the New v Plymouth, Waitara, Inglewood, Stratford, Eltham, Hawera. Cape Egmont, Kaponga, Wanganui, Aramoho, Rangitikei, Sandon, Rongotea, TTeilding, Taihape, Waimarino, West Coast Maori Mission, Patea, Kjmbolton, Ohura, and North Taranaki circuits and home mission stations; Wellington district, comprising the Wellington. Central Mission, Thorndon, Wellington South, Johnsonville, Hutt, Petone, South Wairarajpa, Masterton, Paimerston Noith, Napier, Hastings, Gisborne, Eketahuna, Danne- , (Virke, Levin, Otaki, Waipawa. Woodville, Pahiatua, Norsweood and Waipukurau circuits and home mission stations. When developments of the district warrant the alter- . ation, it will be arranged for Gisborne circuit to be transferred from Wellington to "the South Auckland district. The Rev. C. H. Standage suggested the division of the South Wairarapa circuit, and it was resolved that an alteration in the circuit boundaries should, "be recommended so that Carterton be the Northern circuit, to include Carterton, Dalefield, Belvedere, Clareville, Parkvale, and Waihakeke, the South circuit to be called Featherston, or South Wairarapa, to include Featjferston South, Featherston. Kahutana, Cross Creek, Greytown, and Morrison's Bush. The Levin, Otaki, and South Wairarapa circuits requested to be relieved from the obligation to take a [second married minister for the coming year. This request was recommended to the Conference.
