OBITUARY

MR T. W. BAjuKOUR. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.) NAPIER, Last Nighti The death occurred this morning of Mr Thomas Waite Ejalfour, aged 68, after many weeks' illness. The deceased was Lorn at Roxburgshire, Scotland, in 1843, and came to the Dominion at the age of nineteen. He entered the staff of the Rank of New Zealand, Christchurch, and was afterwards at I y Helton. He was later transferred to Greytown. In 1877 he was appointed manager at Napier. He retired on a pension when the amalgamation with the Colonial Bank took place, in his early days the deceased took a prominent part in athletes, especially football. He married the second daughter of Mr C. R. Bidwill, of Featherston.
