To-Day's Weather.

NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. (By Telcgraou—-Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are as follows: The weather has been sultry in many parts, and raz* has fallen in most districts of the South Inland, and in places on the west coast of the North Island. Moderate to strong northerly and westerly winds have prevailed, and the barometer has fallen steadily, except in the Far South, where a slight rise took place in the night. Present indications are for rain and misty weather in most parts of the country, and thunderstorms in places. Variable northerly and westerly winds will probably prevail and veer to southerly for a Short time. The barometer is unsteady, but will probably rise soon for a brief period.
