] WASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs Atraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Maaterton stock sale held on Wednesday, 7th inst., as follows:—No sheep were offered, the entry being confined solely to cattle, which came forward in excess of advertised numbers. Two or three pens of well-bred, good conditioned bullocks were offered, which met with keen competition, the whole yarding being disposed of under the hammer at prices in excess of vendors' anticipations. We experienced an unsatisfied demand and could have disposed of a much larger yarding at satisfactory prices. Quotations:— Grown bullocks in forward condition, £7 2s to £7 s=*; three-year steers, £5 15s to £5 17s Gd; eighteen months to two-year steers, £3 7s to £3 19s; yeail/'ng steers, £2 19s to £3 ss; fat cows, £4 15s to £5 ss; store cows, £3 5s to £4 ss; weaners 20s 6d to 83s 6d.
