LONDON WOOL SALES.
CLOSING PRICES. Received Last Night, 10.45 o'clock. LONDON, December 7. The wool Eoid at the sales closing to-day was a3 follows: —Home, 48,000 bales; Continent, 59,800 bales; United States, 800 bales; held over, 800 bales. Compared with the October closing, all good shafty merinos sold well, and were practically unchanged. Short faulty declined 7s per cent. Good scoureda were in strong de mand, unchanged; greasy crossbred, small supply, generally advanced about one halfpenny; slips, par to five per centum advance; best merino Janbs, unchanged, faulty declined 5 percent; crossbreds, unchanged.
