AMERICAN SAILORS WELCOMED. Received December 5, 10 a.m. LONDON, December 4. Eight hundred sailors belonging to the United States battleships were entertained by the Lord Mayor at the Guildhall.

Replying to the Lord Mayor s welcome, Commander Amea said that personally he believed that if the British Empire were seriously menaced by an external enemy, the British people might count upon every man, every dollar, and every drop of blood from their kindred across the sea.
