LADY MOUNTAINEER.
TIMARU, Last Niglit. Miss Dufaur, an Austrian lady, accompanied by two guides, returned yesterday to the Hermitage after achieving the ascent of Mount Cook. Miss Dufaur is the first lady ' to conquer this mountain. She made tho ascent in 6 hours 20 minutes from the Bivouac.
