-WOOL, SHEEPSKIN, HIDES AND TALLOW SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report as follows:—The usual fortnightly sale was held to-day, when fairly "large catalogues of ■ skins and hides were. offered, and met with good sales at prices slightly in advance of last sales of skins. Hides were firm at late rates. W« quote: _ Sheepskins.— Halfhred medium sorts, 7}d to 8d per lb; crossbred medium, 6£d to 7d; crossbred coarse, GJd to 6£d; crossbred dead, to Gd; broken and faulty, 2d to sd; crossbred green and salted, 5s 9d each; pelts, Is 4d to Is 9d each; Jambs, Is 6d to Is lid each. Hides. —Ox medium, to 6£d per lb; cow heavy, 6 J 4 d to 6gd; cow and light ox, s}d to 6Jd; faulty and dry hides, 4gd to 6d; calfskins sound, 8d to Bgd; calfskins damaged, 2d to sd. Fat.—ln tins, 23s to 24s per cwt; rough fat in tins, 21s 6d per cwt.

Lamb.—New Zealand, demand fair, and prices firm. We quote: Canterbury prime crossbred heavy, 53d, light*s3d.
