'lhe debate revealed the fact that the Austrian Government was bound by a secret agreement, wheh did not permit of the import of meat with tiungary's consent. Austria is now of the opinion that Hungary sanctioned the importation of ten thousand tons of Argentine meat. . Hungary denies this, and says it was agreed only twj thousand tons were sanctioned. It is doubtful whether the Austrian Parliament's decision will result in the mea 4 : being imported.
