In view of the production of this play, the following cable message from New York to the London Telegraph, dated October 4th, will be read with interest':—"Mr Forbes Robertson has returned to New York, and last night delighted the audience at Miss Maxine Elliott's theatre with the 1000 th performance of Mr Jerome K. Jerome's "Passing of the Third Floor Back." The American public never seem to weary of this plav, which in Mr Forbes Robertson's masterly hand, has broken all records for an English presentation in America."
