NORNAN BLITZ COMPANY.

AMY MURPHY AND WALTER WHYIE. The strongest company that has toured the Dominion for a long time past will visit Masterton on Thursday, December Bth. It includes Miss Amy Murphy, Miss Mabel Fowler, Miss Nellie Bteck, Miss Edith Nevill, Mr Walter Whyte, Mr Louis Blitz, and Mr Chas.'Norman. The Christchurch Press says—"lhe Company, is exceedingly strong in artists of a high standard of ability." The Lyttelton Times remarks—"Were it only for the fact ths»t Miss Amy Murphy and Mr Walter Whyte are members of Mr Charles Norman's concert company, the organisation should deserve every success. The concert was a really artistic treat. Miss Amy Murphy has always been a favourite among her own countrymen, and the public of Christchurch haven nothing but pleasant recollections of her many successes m oratorio, operatic arid conctrt work. She lias evidently profited hy her sojourn in Sydney, for her voice last eveniiife was even more full and round than of yore, and her dainty appreciation of the spirit of her numbers was as convincing as it has ever been." • Miss Nellie iilack fills the dual roll of violinist and contralto, and Miss Nevill is a national balladist; while Miss Fowler, a dramatic soprano, was the winner of a big competition in Hobart.
