PALMERSTON NORTH STOCK SALE.
(By Telcgraoh—Special to the Age.) PALMERSTON N., Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmerston North oil Tuesday all classes of stock met. Avith good competition, and every lot offered was sold at the following quotations : Sheep: Shorn 2-tooth ewes, 13s 2d to 13s 6d; 2-tooth wethers, 12s 2d to 13s 2d: fat ewes, 135.; fat wethers, 14s • 8d; ewes and lambs ,(all' counted) 8s 4d; cull 2tooths, 8s; woolly fat ewes, 20s. Cattle.—Three and 4-year ' bullocks, £6 6s; rough 3-year bullocks, £5 12s Gd; 2-year steers, £3 17s; 2*year steers, £4 10s; fat cows, £4 15s to £5 3s 6d; forward cows", £3 "lis to £4 Is; store cows, £2 to £3 Is; yearling steers, £2 7s 6d to £2 12s; yearling dairy heifers, £2 12s 6d to'£3 2s 6d; weaners, 20s to 26s {6d; springing heifers, £5 os to £5 6s.'
