ANARCHY IN LISBON.
LABOUR A POTENT FORCE. Received Tecember I, 10.5 a.m. LISBON, Number 30. The city is rapidly approaching a state of anarchy. The most potent force is labour, which is dictating to the Government and employerr. Strikes are of daily occurrence, and the Government is powerless to intervene. • The recruiting of Ai;gola natives for the San Thome cocoa plantations will henceforth be entrusted to the Government administration, instead of to private a gentr.
