MASTERTON AMATEURS.
A NIGHT RUN. Two hoats in the 440 yds race for the trophy present to the Masterton Amateur Athletic Club by Mr D. Caselberg were got off on the Masterton Park Oval last evening. The results were as follows — FIHST HEAT. W. Bannister, 15yds 1. K. McKenzie, scr, 2., SECOND HEAT. W. Morris, 35yds, 1. R. Messenger, 25yds, 2. N. Langdon, 35yds 3. Time, 55 l-ssec. Ihe finals in the 100, 220, and 440 yards events will be run on Thursday next.
