LIEUT. SIR E. H. SHACKLETON.
LECTURING IN GERMANY. (Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.) BERLIN, December 1. Lieut. Sir E. H. Shackleton, the well-known explorer, has just concluded a lecturing tour of Germany, in which lie spoke the German language. Speaking at Mannheim, he wished Filehner's expedition success. He declared that the camaradarie pf science knew no bounds. Filchner, in reply, said that if his expedition achieved anything, .. they would owe it to the British explorers.
