LAST NIGHTS 'PERFORMANCE.
,"Les Cloches de Corncville" was again produced by thq< Masterton Amateur Theatrical Society in the Town Hall last night, before a large and most appreciative audience. The principals were better than on the. first.night,'"while the chorus work also showed improvement. The.solos and. duets were nicely taken, and drew the hearty applause of the' audience. The Society, is to be congratulated upon the excellent way . this opera was produced, the scenery, dressing, lighting, and general stage effects being far iti advance of its former productions. Altogether, the Society must be congratulated upon the management of the piece, and the general completeness of the arrangements. At the conclusion of the performance the whole of the members of t-hf company were entertained at sup per.
