A FARMERS' OUTING.

VISIT TO LEVIN STATE FARM.

Twelve farmers at Parkvale and Carterton —Messrs T. Reid, C. Reid, A. Daysh, A. Osborne, S. Swan, J. W.' Whittaker, J. Wadliam, G. Eaton, E. Matson, A. Hooker, R. McLaren, and Arch. McPliee—passed through Masterton by tlie mid-day train yesterday, for the Levin State Farm. The excursion, which Avas arranged by Mr J. T. M. Hornsbv, is being made with the object oi gleaning information as to the farming methods adopted oil'the State Farm. The party will return to their homes by the late train tonight.
