A SENSATIONAL AFFAIR.
MAN SHOOTS I.IIS FAITHLESS WIFE. Received Last Night, .10.15 o'clock. ADELAIDE, November 2S. A sensational shooting affair has 'occurred here. h man named Knight, who is en gaged on a steamer trading bttween bydney and New Zealand, was married in New Zealrnd in August, and took his wife to Sydney. Subsequently the disappeared, and Knight states that he found her living with a man named Paton, in Adelaide. Knight induced her to return to him. she again left him, and Knight traced her and Faton to Glenelg. He confronted them. and. according to Paton's ftory. fired two shots at nim. narrowly missing him Faton returned to his room to secure a revolver. During his absence be beard three more shots, and he found IVjrs Knight lying on the floor, bleeding from a severe wound. Knight has surrendered himself to the police.
