WELLINGTON WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report:— The second wool sale took place, today, when the Associated Woolbrokers offered catalogues comprising about" 8500 bales, of which we submitted about 1380 bales. Buyers were in full force, and represented practically all the wool-consuming centres. Bidding was spirited, and some good sales were effected at prices fully equal to our first sale. We quote a few of the sales made ,by us,, that wia be of interest , to, the Wairarapa district :—Watersoiv Bid; Percy Bros;, 6 bales, -Bjd; Galbraith, 9d; Gowler, Bjd; Houlbrooke, B|d; x J ain, 9£d; Clifford. Lyford, 8R; Barrer, 83d, 9£d,.S-}d, B£d, 8d; Cameron, 10$ d.' We quote- to-day's prices for undermentioned descriptions of wool as. follows :: Half bred super, lid to H-Jd; medium, lOd to lO Jd; crossbred super, IOJd to lljd; medium, B?,d to I0d; coarse and inferior, to Bd.
